Working with core drills
▸
Push centring and ejector pin through the head of
the core drill.
▸
Core drill with Weldon shaft are firmly clamped
to the two clamping surfaces with the clamping
screws (DIN 913).
▸
Align core drill with centring and ejector pin to a
punched point or crack and apply.
▸
Apply the core drill and drill the workpiece until
the entire cutting surface forms a circular ring.
The core drill should be cooled continuously
cooled during the drilling process. Optimum
cooling is possible by means of our coolant
equipment using internal cooling.
Working with solid drills
The chuck with Weldon shaft is only
suited for drilling with twist drills of up to
13 mm.

Insert chuck and adaptor into the drill spindle.

Insert twist drill into chuck and clamp firmly.
Maintenance and cleaning

Only perform maintenance and

Weekly

Purge motor compartment from outside with dry
compressed air.
Only for MKB 35 COMFORT:
▸
Check correct functioning of operating lever and
the safety tab.
▸
Check magnetic underside for scratches, pressure
marks and cracks. Have the magnet repaired by
the manufacturer if necessary.
▸
Check motor LED and, if necessary, have the
carbon brushes replaced.
Monthly
▸
Check the markings and notice signs on the
machine for legibility and damage and replace
if necessary.
▸
Clean and lubricate all sliding surfaces. Con-
figure the preloading of the sliding carriage.
Annually
▸
Top up gear oil or gear grease.
Only for MKB 35 COMFORT:
▸
Have the carbon brushes replaced after roughly
250 hours of operation.
