12 Taking the cabinet out of operation for
extended periods
Take all the goods out of storage
WARNING: Disconnecting the mains plug on
cabinets with an electronic temperature control
causes faults in the bus system.
To switch off cabinets with an electronic temperature
controller (see chapter 8.2), briefly press the Defrost
button.
To switch off cabinets with a mechanical temperature
controller (see chapter 8.1), press the Defrost button or
remove the mains plug.
Open cover, allow cabinet to adjust to room
temperature and clean.
Leave cover at least slightly ajar (around 2-3 cm), the
flow of air will prevent odours and spores from forming
in the interior.
Never position cabinets with closed covers in direct
sunlight
(risk
of
temperatures).

13 Disposal

WARNING:
Do not put the cabinet in the normal rubbish.
Instead, please check your obligations ac-
cording to the national WEEE regulations
and take the cabinet to the local WEEE dis-
posal service. Please ensure that the pipes
are not damaged.

14 Accessories

A range of special accessories is available for the cabinets,
including:
light attachments
partitions, adjustment grille
accessories for bus wiring
impact and water protection strips
Please contact your supplier or local stockist for more
information.

15 What to do if ...

WARNING: Work on the electrical system and the
refrigeration system may only be undertaken by a
qualified electrician.
The cabinet has been carefully tested for performance and
safety in the AHT test centre. Should a fault arise despite this
testing, please first check the following:
Is it plugged in?
Is the socket live?
Is the green mains indicator on the control panel of
cabinets with a mechanical temperature controller lit
up?
Is the display active on cabinets with an electronic
temperature controller?
Has the Standby/ Reset button on the cabinet been
pressed?
If the interior temperature is too warm:

Were the covers left open for too long?
Have warm goods been put into storage by mistake?
Have you just experienced a long power cut?
If the fault is not covered by any of these causes, please call
your after-sales service.
The fault message may appear on the 7-segment display on
cabinets with an electronic temperature controller (see chapter
8.2):
When a fault is detected, the display flashes. It displays an
error message alternately to the current temperature inside
the cabinet. After 10 minutes, the actual temperature is again
displayed permanently along with a flashing spot. This
process is repeated every 60 minutes until the fault is
rectified.
If a malfunction occurs please contact your customer service
office.
If a fault message appears, please call your after-sales service.
