Lubricating the blades
For proper operation of the device, frequent lubrication of
the blades is required before each use. Add 1-2 drops of oil
onto the blades (see figure to the right) with a finger and
spread it over the entire surface of the blades. Switch on the
device (first plug it into the power outlet and then turn the
switch to pos. On.) for a short period, so that oil is
dispersed properly over all blades. Use only the oil supplied
or oil for sewing machines. Do not use hair oils, grease or
substances containing kerosene or any other solvent, as this
may evaporate and the residual oil may seep into the gears
of the blades.
