ACCELERATOR:
Detail 14 Fig. 8. It is used to adjust the number of revolutions/minute of the engine.
DEBRIS HOPPER OPENING LEVER:
Detail 15 Fig. 8 and Detail 2 Fig. 10. It is used to open the debris hopper in order for it to be emptied.
It is ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY operated with the hopper lifted by 50cm from the ground or at the desired height.
DEBRIS HOPPER LIFTING LEVER:
Detail 16 Fig. 8 and Detail 1 Fig. 10. To lift the waste hopper press and hold the Hydraulic safety valve enabling button Detail 11 Fig. 8, pull
back the lever 1, until reaching the desired height.
To open the hopper and therefore unload the waste pull back the lever 2, releasing it when the hopper has been emptied
The hopper will close automatically.
To make the hopper go back into the machine, move the lever forwards 1 until it is fully closed.
PARKING BRAKE LEVER:
Detail 17 Fig. 8. It is used to activate the machine parking brake. Press the brake pedal (Detail 3 Fig. 7) and pull the lever (Detail 17 Fig. 8) so
that the brake pedal stays locked in the braking position. To release the pedal and the lever, simply press the brake pedal slightly and they
will go back into place.
WORK STATION:
The work station must be occupied by the operator during machine operation, and is solely that illustrated in Fig. 11.
IMPORTANT: For safety reasons, the machine switches off automatically when the operator gets out of the driver's seat or if the engine
hood Detail 1 Fig. 3 is opened or is not completely closed.
EMERGENCY STOP:
Release the forward pedal and act on the brake pedal Detail 3 Fig. 7; switch off the machine by turning the key, Detail 12 Fig. 8 located on
the control panel, anticlockwise.
CHAPTER 9 - SAFETY STANDARDS
DEFINITION: Residual risks that cannot be eliminated are all of those risks that, for several reasons, cannot be removed; for
each one we provide the instructions to operate safely.
Risk of injury to hands, body and eyesight, by operating the machine without using safety guards correctly assembled and fully intact.
The risk of injuries to hands if, for any reason, you touch the side broom or the central broom, as they are spinning. The brooms can
only be touched when the motor is switched off and with the aid of protective gloves, to avoid poking or cutting yourself with sharp
slivers of debris in the bristles.
The risk of inhaling harmful substances, scratches to hands, when emptying out the container (hopper), without using protective gloves
and mask to protect the respiratory tract.
Risk of serious burns by carrying out any form of maintenance with the engine running or with the engine off but not completely cooled
down.
Risk of explosion or fire by filling it up with the engine running or with the engine off but not completely cooled down.
RESIDUAL RISKS THAT CANNOT BE ELIMINATED
