4. Check to make sure the gas cylinder is at least 4 meters away and on the side where the
wind comes from.
5. Open up the gas bottle's gas valve.
6. Light the ignition burner.
Please note: keep as much distance as possible when igniting the fire extinguishing trainer. Use the
igniter with an outstretched arm.
7. Squeeze the gas hose handle (3), allowing gas to enter the fire extinguishing trainer.
8. Ignite the fire extinguishing trainer by holding the ignition burner just above the practice
extinguisher burner (7).
9. Extinguish the ignition burner.
Please note: If the FireWare Hybrid does not ignite, close the gas faucet and contact FireWare.
10. You can now conduct a fire extinguishing exercise with foam, water, CO2, powder or air.

Switching off

You can put out the flames by letting go of the squeeze handle. Also make sure you close the gas
bottle's gas valve once you are finished and squeeze the handle one more time to release any
pressure from the hose.
Always allow the fire extinguisher trainer to cool down for at least 20 minutes before you relocate it.
The gas hose can be disconnected and the equipment stored away once the FireWare Hybrid has
cooled off sufficiently. If you have used water, you can let this run out of the fire extinguishing trainer
by lifting this up by the handle. The water can run off through the overflow holes on the other side.
