SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use in rain, snow, damp
or wet locations. Do not use in the presence of explosive
atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or fammable materials)
because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing
batteries, possibly causing fire.
This tool is designed to be powered by 3 AA batteries properly
inserted into the Instrument. Do not attempt to use with any
other voltage or power supply.
Do not leave batteries within the reach of children.
Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix brands (or
types within brands) of batteries.
Do not mix rechargeable and non-recharge-able batteries.
Install batteries according to polarity (+ / –) diagrams.
Properly dispose of used batteries immediately.
Battery acid may leak from damaged batteries under extreme
load or extreme temperatures. In case of contact with battery
acid wash it off immediately with soap and water. In case of eye
contact rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and
immediately seek medical attention.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE

The Temperature Meter can be used for contact temperature
measurement with K-type probe.
Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal
use.

CONTACT TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT WITH K-TYPE PROBE
Warning!
Never connect the Temperature Probe to an energized circuit.
Only use K-type Temperature Probes with this meter.
1. Insert the probe into the input. Two probes can be used
simultaneously.
2. Press and hold the
button to turn the meter on.
The display will continue to update the contact temperature
while the temperature probe reaches thermal equilibrium
with the object being measured. The display will switch to
low backlight mode 5 minutes after the last button is
pressed. The meter will automatically power off after an
additional 25 minutes if no buttons are pressed.
If the low battery life indicator appears
the meter will
automatically power off 5 minutes after the last button is
pressed (replace the batteries as soon as possible).
3. Press the
button or
button to start the timer and
begin tracking the maximum, minimum and average
temperatures over time.
When the timer is activated the auto power off time is
extended to 30 hours.
4. Press the
button to toggle through the minimum,
maximum, and average readings. The measurement time
readings also toggle through the minimum, maximum, and
average.
5. Press the
button to turn off the timer and stop tracking
minimum, maximum and average temperatures.
6. Press the
button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and
Fahrenheit (°F).
7. Press the
button to hold or release the displayed
readings.
8. Press the
button to change what is displayed in the
primary and secondary measurements.
9. Press and hold the
button to turn the meter off.
MAINTENANCE
Warning!
To reduce the risk of personal injury and damage, never
immerse your tool in liquid or allow a liquid to flow inside it.
Clean dust and debris from tool. Keep tool clean, dry and free
of oil or grease. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean
the tool since certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful
to plastics and other insulated parts. Never use flammable or
combustible solvents around tools
Use only Milwaukee accessories and Milwaukee spare parts.
