4.1.a - Charging the batteries with
the on-board battery charger
(if present) (Fig. 8-9)

Move the machine to the vicinity of a main
electrical socket.

Lift the seat (1) and the battery charger
(2).
-
Disconnect the battery plug (3) from the
socket (4) of the machine's electrical sys-
tem.

Connect the battery plug (3) to the on-
board battery charger's outlet (5).
-
Remove the cable from the kit (6) and
connect it to the socket (7) on the ma-
chine then connect the other end to the
mains socket.
WARNING:
Make sure that the system voltage is
compatible with the battery charger's in-
put voltage (100-130 Vac or 200-230 Vac,
50/60 Hz).

Leave the batteries to charge until the
"Green" LED (8) comes on, then remove
the power cable (6) and put it back in po-
sition.

Reconnect the battery plug (3) to the
socket of the machine's electrical system
(4) then lower the battery charger (2) and
seat (1) again.
