* The wire length is the total distance from the
battery to the pump and back to battery. It is
recommended to use a relay with a light wire
from main cable to switch to shorten the main
leaders.
Maintenance
The system should be periodically, and at first
start, sanitized using the following procedure:
1. Fill the tank with a solution of household
bleach and potable water
(1 ml bleach/1 liter water).
2. Open all faucets and run until water
flowing smells of bleach.
3. Close all faucets.
4. Drain solution from tank.
5. Refill tank with potable water.
6. Open all faucets and run until bleach has
been purged.
Clean the filter periodically by removing the
white filter insert using the following
procedure:
1. Remove the end of the filter.
2. Pull out the white insert.
3. Clean the insert with bleach and a brush.
4. Put the insert back and screw back the end
of the filter taking notice of the rubber
gasket.

Pressure adjustment of the accumulator
tank:
1. Shut off the pumps.
2. Open a faucet to relieve the system
pressure.
3. Adjust precharge pressure in tank with a
ordinary tire gauge and tire pump at valve
in end of the tank
4. Start up the system according to start-up
procedure.
Start-up procedure
After pump installation, using the following
procedure can start the system:
• Fill water tank with potable water.
• Open one tap.
• Turn on the pump.
• Close tap once water begins flowing.
• Open each additional tap until all air has
been purged from the system.
• Pump will shut off after taps are closed
and pressure builds to the set point of the
pressure switch
Self-priming
Pump unit is self-priming up to 2.5 m/8.2
feet. Intake lines must be airtight to
ensure self-priming.
Dry running
Pump unit will not be damaged by shorter
period of dry running. It will, however,
unnecessary reduce your battery power.
Accumulator tank
The accumulator tank incorporated in the
system is there to provide a smooth water
flow and reduce on/off cycling of the pumps.
Less wear and longer service life for the
pump are achieved. The accumulator tank is
precharged at 0.8 bar. The pressure should
be checked from time to time. (Look under
maintenance)
Caution
Do not use the pump unit for any other
liquids then fresh-water and seawater.
Do not overpressure tank. Pressure over 12
bar (170 psi) may rupture tank and cause
personal injury.
