Settings
This child car seat has diverse settings to better suit the needs of your
child.
1) The angle of the seat is adjustable to allow a better rest to the child
during long trips, always in the maximum safety. With reference to Fig. 5,
adjust the angle of the backrest according to the weight of the child .
2) The internal pad ( part. D of Fig. 2) is made of soft and breathable ma-
terials and designed to offer a better containment for younger children
and is designed to provide them with an adequate position, always with
the highest level of comfort and safety. For children over 13 kg the inter-
nal pad must be removed ( Fig. 5A ).
3) The headrest is provided with a height adjustment mechanism to po-
sition at the right level the harness straps, according to the child's height.
The headrest is correctly positioned when the harness slots at the same
height of the child shoulders or slightly above ( Fig. 8 ).
To change the position of the headrest and the shoulder straps, pull
upwards the headrest adjustment device ( Part. N of Fig. 3 ) and move
the headrest in the required position, upward or downward ( Fig.6 ).

4) Side impact protection devices ( Part. R of Fig.3) : Activate the Side
impact protections on both sides of the seat by pushing them in a for-
ward direction as shown in Fig.12. Follow the reverse process to disable
the Side impact protections.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
For safety reason, the side impact protections must always be kept open
when carrying a child.
Do not install this child car seat on a vehicle seat provided with frontal
airbag, unless this device can be disabled ( always refer to your vehicle
handbook ) .
Installation method for children from 9 to 18 kg (Group I)
1) This is an ISOFIX CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM.
It is approved to European ECE No. 44, 04 series of amendments for ge-
neral use in vehicles tted with ISOFIX anchorages systems.
2) It will t vehicles with positions approved as ISOFIX positions (as de-
tailed in the vehicle handbook), depending on the category of the child
car seat and of the xture.
3) The mass group and the ISOFIX size class for which this device is in-
tended is Group I ( 9to 18 kg ) , Class B1.
If in doubt, please contact the retailer or the manufacturer of this child
restraint system.
WARNING:
For children from 9 to 18 kg, ALWAYS install the seat forward facing, and
the available reclining positions are : 1,2 and 3 ( Fig. 7 ).

Place the child seat on the appropriate vehicle seat, in the travel di-
rection.
Make sure the vehicle seat is secured in the rearmost position and its

seatback is locked in the vertical position.
Make sure the child seat is adjusted to its most reclined position.

If the baby's weight is less than 13 kg it is necessary to use the internal
pad (part D of Fig. 2 ).
