For babies, a mother's milk is the most important
lifesource there is. That is why NUK supports you
with the NUK breastfeeding programme, providing
practical and convenient aids to meet every
requirement of breastfeeding, so that you and your
baby can enjoy every precious moment together.
1. Important Information Before Using for the First
Clean and sterilise all parts except the pump unit 2 before using the NUK Sensitive Breast
Pump for the first time (see "7. Cleaning and Sterilising").

2.1 Intended purpose

The NUK Sensitive Breast Pump is an aid to
expressing and collecting breast milk:
– in the workplace or when baby is away, at
home or when travelling
– to maintain milk production during a break in
breast feeding
– to relieve engorgement.
Once expressed, breast milk can be collected,
stored, frozen, warmed and fed to your baby in
the NUK Breast Milk Container.
2.2 Function
The NUK Sensitive Breast Pump is a manual
suction pump and offers the following benefits:
• simple to use and needs no power supply
• individually adjustable suction strength
• breast pump comes apart for easy cleaning
• silicone cushion for gentle massaging effect
and softer feel
• imitates your baby's natural suckling action
• collects expressed breast milk
• supplied with stand for safe, convenient
storage

2.3 Contraindications
In the event of certain nipple problems
(inflammation, open cuts) the NUK Sensitive
Breast Pump should not be used or only used with
special care. If you are unsure at any time about
whether to use the NUK Sensitive Breast Pump
please consult your doctor.
