– Do not open the casing, rather allow qualified
personnel to perform repairs. For this, consult
a qualified workshop. Claims based on liability
and warranty are ruled out in cases involving
attempts at repair by the user, improper con-
nection or incorrect operation.
– If the unit's power cord is damaged, to avoid
risks it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its customer service department, or a person
with similar qualifications.
– Only parts, which correspond to the original
device data, may be used. Electrical and me-
chanical parts are located in this unit, which
are essential for protection against potential
sources of risk.
– Only use the device in dry indoor spaces or on
a dry, level surface. Never use it in wet rooms
or in the rain.
– Do not immerse the device, the power cord or
plug in water.
Immediately pull the power plug in this case.
Have the device inspected by an authorised
service workshop.
– Never take hold of the power plug with wet
hands.
– Never store the device so that there is a risk of
it falling in a tub or sink.
– Keep the device, the power plug and the power
cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.
– Keep the power cord away from sharp edges
and do not allow it to kink.
– Regularly check the device and power cord for
damage.
– Never use the power cord as a carrying strap.
– Render the device, once it has outlived its pur-
pose, unusable: Pull the power cord out of the
socket and cut the power cord in half. ■
Hazards for children!
Children often underestimate or fail to recognise
risks.
– Do not allow children to play with the packag-
ing. Packaging and wrappers can cause suf-
focation.
– This product is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or intellectual capacity or by persons
lacking experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have received from such a
person instruction on how to use the product.
– Supervise children to be sure that they do not
play with the device. ■
Risk due to incorrect operation!
Improper handling of the device may result in
damage.
– The unit may only be operated by persons,
who are familiar with the risks and unique fea-
tures of the device.
– Never subject the device to high temperatures
(heater etc.) or the influences of weather (rain
etc.).
– If applicable, place a dry, resistant, hard base
under the device in order to protect the surface
of the base.
– Only use the device when the ring insert is in
place (see Figure 2, B).
– Never operate the device when it is unattend-
ed! ■
