● Working tool is properly seated if it cannot be removed without pulling off the fixing sleeve (2) of the
chuck.
● If the sleeve does not return to its default position, remove the working tool and repeat the whole
operation.
High efficiency of the demolition hammer operation can be achieved by using sharp and undamaged
working tools.
DEINSTALLATION OF WORKING TOOL
Just after the operation is finished, the working tool may be hot. Avoid direct contact and use
appropriate protective gloves. Clean the working tool after removal.
● Pull the fixing sleeve (2) to the back and hold.
● Remove the working tool with your second hand by pulling it to the front (fig. C).
SETTING CHISEL TO DESIRED POSITION
Before starting operation you can adjust chisel position to the most comfortable setting for the task. You
can set chisel to 1 of 12 positions.
This feature is useful in particular for flat and shaped chisels.
● Install chisel in the SDS chuck (1).
● Pull the locking ring of the chisel setting (3) forward while overcoming spring resistance and turn to
desired position to either direction with reference to its circumference (refer to symbols on the ring)
(fig. D).
● Release pressure on the locking ring for the chisel setting (3) so the ring returns to its initial position. (If
the ring does not return to its position, rotate it slightly to lock the chisel in desired position).
The chisel is well secured, when the locking ring for the chisel setting (3) cannot be rotated without
pulling.
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate of the demolition hammer.
Switching on – press the switch button (5).
Switching off – release pressure on the switch (5).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
● Press the switch button (5) and hold in this position.
● Press the switch lock button (4) (fig. E).
● Release pressure on the switch button (5).
Switching off:
● Press and release the switch button (5).
Do not use the demolition hammer when the switch is faulty.
HAMMER OPERATION, DEMOLITION
Hold the hammer firmly with both hands and switch it on. To achieve the best efficiency possible during
operation, apply uniform and moderate (not excessive) pressure on the demolition hammer, as excessive
pressure would lead to efficiency loss. The hammer is factory lubricated and is ready for operation.
Demolition hammer filled with solid grease requires some time to heat up, depending on the surrounding
temperature. If the demolition hammer is not used for a long time, or operates in low temperature, allow
the hammer to work with no load for 2-3 minutes.
Sharp working tools improve work efficiency. Ventilation holes with no dirt reduce risk of motor overheating.
