Using Your Coffee Maker:
WARNING: Avoid contact hot parts.
For best results, use and measure medium ground coffee with a tablespoon. (included)
Water
1 cup (6 oz.)
4 cups
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER:
1. Lift and open the filter basket lid. For your convenience you can lift out the removable filter
basket.
2. Fill the reusable filter with appropriate amount of medium ground coffee. (See chart). Paper
filters may be used in place of the included reusable filter. Accepts #2 Paper Cone Filters with a
Flat Bottom.
3. Gently shake the reusable filter side to side to level grounds and place the reusable filter
into the filter holder. Place inside the coffee maker.
4. Use the Glass Carafe to pour fresh, cold water into the water reservoir. Do not fill past the
"Max" line. Close the lid and place the empty Glass Carafe onto the warming plate.
Note: Make sure the Glass Carafe is fully placed on the warming plate or the water and the
grounds will overflow from the filter basket. This can cause personal injury and damages.
The amount of coffee brewed will always be slightly less than the amount of water poured
in the water reservoir. This is due to absorption of water by the coffee grounds.
5. Close the lid and place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate.
BREWING:
1. After steps 1-7 above, press the power switch from "0" to "I".
2. Your coffee maker will begin to brew. When it is done brewing, the warming plate will
keep it hot as long as you keep the switch on "I". Please turn your coffee maker to "O"
when you no longer have coffee in your pot.
3. DO NOT leave your coffee maker on for more than an hour after brewing to prevent
burning. This Coffee Maker does not shut off automatically.
4. This coffee maker has a Pause and Serve feature that allows you to sneak a cup of coffee
and remove the glass carafe for about 30 seconds. Replace the pot immediately to
prevent overflow of filter basket.
5. To turn the coffee maker off push the switch back to the "O" position.
6. Make sure all contents have cooled before handling them to clean or store.
Cleaning Your Coffee Maker:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool before cleaning or storing.
NOTICE: To avoid damaging the product, do not pour cold water into the Glass Carafe after
use.
• Once cold, empty the cooled coffee grounds along with the paper filter to the waste bin.
