Sandwich-Star XXL Family
Switching the appliance ON/OFF
The appliance is not equipped with an on/
off switch. The appliance is in operation
when the mains plug is plugged in.
Using the appliance
To make sandwiches with the appliance,
proceed as follows:
Fold the lid (6) downwards.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
The red power indicator (2) lights up
and the appliance starts heating. This
can take a few minutes.
NOTE
In the mean time, prepare your sand-
wiches and then fill to taste, e. g.,
with salami and cheese.
Do not use too much cheese. Melted
cheese can ooze out of the sides of
the sandwiches.
Wait until the green temperature indi-
cator lamp (3) lights up.
Open the lid (6) of the appliance and
lay the prepared sandwiches onto the
lower hotplate.
Slowly press the lid (6) downwards
and fold down the lid locking latch (5).
Check the browning of the sandwich
intermittently by briefly opening the lid
(6). Depending on the filling, this will
take between 4 and 6 minutes.
Open the lid (6) and remove the fin-
ished sandwiches with a wooden or
heat-proof spatula.
