4. Mounting the camera on the steadycam
•
Plug the steadycam with the handle on a
lamp tripod (optional)
NOTE
Ensure stability of steadycam and lamp
tripod.
•
Loosen the locking lever for the quick-re-
lease plate.
•
Pull the unlocking screw towards the
outside.
•
Remove the quick-release plate by pulling
it forward or backward out of the slide.
•
Fasten the camera securely on the
quick-release plate.
•
Slide the quick-release plate with your
camera back on the slide.
NOTE
Make sure that the unlocking screw thereby
clicks into place.
•
With the unlocking screw you can move
the camera forward or back to ease fine
adjustment. (see also point 5)
•
Tighten the fastening lever for the quick-re-
lease plate securely.

5. Balancing the slide components
•
Tilt the steadycam forward and back on the stationary lamp tripod.
•
Adjust the forward and backward inclination of the camera system by
using the adjustment possibilities of the quick-release plate, so that the
weight is evenly distributed.
•
Loosen the locking lever for the quick-release plate.
•
With the unlocking screw you can move the camera forward or back to
ease fine adjustment.
•
Tighten the fastening lever for the quick-release plate securely.
•
You may need to repeat these steps, until the system is perfectly balanced.
