Wiring the terminal module TM-RM/RM
• When laying cables, observe the installation and operating
instructions as per EN 60 079-14, as well as the
regulations specific to your country.
• When wiring, ensure that intrinsically safe and non-
intrinsically safe cables are separated. They should be laid
in separate cable ducts.
• Actuators from Zone 1, Zone 2, as well as Zones 21, 22
and the safe area may be connected to the terminal
module. You will find the terminal assignment of the
electronic module in the Distributed I/O Device ET 200iSP
Operating Instructions.
• The safety-specific data (maximum values) of the actuators
must match the corresponding maximum values of the
electronic module. You will find the maximum values of the
actuators in the appropriate Ex-certifications.
