4. Check and Secure Fittings
- Ensure that both the tee and the overflow pipe are vertical.
- Ensure that the waste pipe is horizontal.
- If adjustment is needed, partially unthread the coupling nuts and
reposition the tee. Hand tighten the coupling nuts.
- Tighten the overflow and waste ferrules evenly to ensure good seals,
while maintaining proper vertical and horizontal alignment. Tighten
the overflow ferrule with the spanner provided. Tighten the waste
ferrule with a coin or large screwdriver.
- Wrench-tighten the coupling nuts to one quarter turn past
hand-tight.
5. Install Control Knob and Plug
- Remove the control knob from the packaging. Connect the control
knob to the overflow "D" stem and secure using the supplied hex
wrench.
- Remove the pop-up plug from the packaging. Insert the plug into
the bath waste.
- Turn the control knob fully clockwise to open the drain. There
should be a 3/8" (1cm) gap between the plug and the waste flange.
If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut, turn the adjustment
screw to the proper height and retighten the lock nut.
