Reinstall the covers on the end faces of the
load carriers and turn the locking clip (1)
90° clockwise.
Tip: We recommend that Volvo's "One
Key" locking system is used to secure the
cover and so lock any accessories to be
secured in the T-track.

Safety instructions

The maximum permitted roof load and gross
vehicle weight must not be exceeded, see the
Owner's Manual for the car (permitted roof
load 75 kg, load carriers' weight approx. 5.4
kg). Maximum roof load is determined by
the total of the weight of the load carriers,
accessories and load.
Distribute the load evenly over the loading
surface, with as low a centre of gravity as
possible, and secure it so that it cannot
move.
Check the position and securement of the
load at regular intervals.
Check the screw joints and mountings after
a short distance. If necessary, tighten to the
torque prescribed. Check at regular inter-
vals.
Driving characteristics and the susceptibili-
ty of the vehicle to side winds are changed
with a load on the roof. Adapt your speed
to the load on the vehicle (max. speed 130
km/h).
For the safety of other road users and to
save energy, the load carriers should be
removed when not in use.
