Noted that in the "wall installation" of the Instruction book, must be
replaced with the following part.
Wall installation
With wall installation, the wall to which the appliance is secured must be made of
masonry and/or of heat-resistant material (not wood, or synthetic material which can
easily overheat); also, follow these indications for the installation:
5)
The heater must be installed at least 1,8 m above the floor
6)
At a distance of at least 40 cm from the corners of walls
7)
At a distance of at least 100 cm from flammable materials (curtains, fabrics,
etc.)
8)
Not beneath socket outlets
The heater must be installed fit using the two "lock hole
slots" in the rear panel: make two holes in wall 16,2cm.
apart, (before to make the holes it is good to measure the
distance of the said slots), perfectly horizontal; insert
expansion wall anchors into the same and screw the
screws suitable for the slots.
Fix the metal plate on the rear panel at the bottom, as the
figure. Hang the appliance on the wall, mark the exact
positioning of the hole on the bottom of the metal bracket.
The hole for the locking flange must be made 15,8cm below
the previous 2. It is not in the centre between the previous
holes but slightly aside, 8,6mm with respect to the vertical of
the left hole, and 7,4mm with respect to the vertical of the right hole. (before to make
the holes it is good to measure the distance of the said slots). Remove the fan heater,
make hole and insert the hook into the slot. Re-hang the appliance on the wall, and fix
the metal plate with screw to secure the appliance to the wall in this way.
At the end, ensure that the fan heater is firmly secured.
The wall must be robust, flat, with no rough patches, in a rigid fire-proof and heat-
resistant material, with a suitable thickness to ensure that the appliance is fixed
securely, bearing in mind that it can be oriented in various directions and therefore
the wall must withstand a certain stress.
The appliance must be turned so that air is blown downwards and not upwards.
