USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it
yourself. Refer it to qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical wall outlet when not in
use and before cleaning. Never immerse in water or other liquid.
TO CLEAN:
This espresso coffee maker should be cleaned after every use. Unplug and
allow cooling before cleaning.
1. The filter basket and holder should be removed, emptied and cleaned after
every use.
2. The filter basket, holder, carafe and lid can be washed in warm, soapy
water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe all other parts with a soft, slightly damp cloth or sponge.
4. To clean the steam nozzle, fill a cup with warm water. Place the cup of
warm water under and over the steam jet, and hold for a few seconds.
Unclog the opening with a pin and wipe clean.
DESCALING:
If you live in a hard-water area, minerals and calcium found in the water will
accumulate and affect the operation of the Cappuccino/Espresso Coffee
Maker.
Approximately every 6 months (this can very depending on water conditions),
your Cappuccino/Espresso Coffee Maker should be cleaned with distilled
vinegar in the following manner, in order to remove the mineral deposits, also
referred to as
scale.
