TO PERPARE CAPPUCCINO
Pour the desired amount of milk into a milk cup/frothing pitcher(not provided).
Approximately 4 to 6 oz for 4 cups of cappuccino or 3oz of milk for two cups of
cappuccino. Follow steps 1 to 6. Please, note that a milk cup is not provided
with the product.
When coffee has stopped flowing into the carafe, begin frothing the milk as
follows:
a) Hold frothing pitcher by handle (for best result, frothing pitcher
should be chilled in the refrigerator prior to use)
b) Insert steam nozzle with frothing attachment just under the surface
of the milk (for best results, milk should be chilled and preferably
skim or 1%)
c) Turn the selector knob with free hand by turning clockwise to the
steam position.
d) Move cup in a circular motion and allow steam to froth the milk for
several seconds.
e) After frothing, insert steam nozzle and frothing attachment to
bottom of cup for just 2 to 3 seconds to warm the milk. Remember
cold skim milk froths more readily. Overheating milk will break
down the bubbles.
f) After removing the steam nozzle from the frothed milk, turn
selector knob to steam position momentarily to clear the nozzle of
milk.
g) When steam process has been stopped, turn selector knob to the
off position.
CAUTION: Steam from steam nozzle is very
hot. Release any steam into a vessel or
over a sink.
