SAFETY CONDITIONS:
Read the content of this manual carefully before first use.
1. The connection cable should be plugged into a socket with para-
meters which conform to those found in the manual.
2. The appliance is not meant to be used via an external clock or a se-
parate remote control system.
3. The cable cannot be laid across sharp edges or near hot surfaces
and items, as this may damage the insulation. Possible risk of elec-
trocution.
4. Do not place any items, furniture, etc. on the cable and make sure
that it is not bent.
5. Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
6. Do not use the toaster without the sliding crumb tray. The crumb
tray should be cleaned regularly. Do not let the crumbs collect on
the tray.
7. The appliance cannot be used to toast food products containing
sugar, jam or preservatives.
8. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply by pulling
on the plug, not the cable.
9. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is not being
used and before cleaning.
10. Do not immerse the cable or the appliance in water.
11. Do not use in the open air.
12. Caution: the bread may be burned. When using the toaster make
sure that there is enough space above and around the appliance
to obtain proper air circulation. During operation, the appliance
cannot come into contact with drapes, wall decorations, clothes,
paper towels or other combustible materials.
13. BE CAREFUL when using the appliance on heatsensitive surfaces –
it is recommended to use an insulated thermal pad.
14. Do not leave children unattended near the appliance.
15. Appliance parts become hot during use. Wait until the appliance
has cooled down before cleaning and putting it away.
16. Be cautious when removing the products from the toaster. The
