9.1) Installation as a BOOSTER SET system
It allows the activation of 1 or 2 pumps, independently or jointly, with or without starting
alternation, through pressure switches, float switches, tank probes, pressure transducer or by
time programming. To avoid dry running, in addition to the built-in current protection, system
shutdown can be selected through a minimum pressure switch, a float switch, hanging probes
in the well (2 or 3 well probes can be selected) or no element of protection.
In the case of operation by means of a pressure transducer, configurable with full scale from
1 bar to 40 bar, the starting delay of the auxiliary pump can be configured, in case the main
pump is not able to exceed the starting pressure. Auxiliary pump starting can also be disabled
if only 1 pump is required to run at a time. In any case, and as long as the auxiliary start has
not been disabled, the standby pump will start automatically even if the set delay time has not
been met, if the pressure drops to half the start pressure, to avoid an excessive drop pressure
in the installation.
9.2) Installation as a WASTE WATER lifting system
It allows the activation of 1 or 2 pumps, independently or jointly, with or without starting al-
ternation, through float switches, pressure transducer (any level control device that provides
a 4-20mA signal) or by time programming. To avoid dry running, in addition to the built-in
current protection, there is an input for the system's joint shutdown float. In addition, a second
stop float of the entire system can be configured for double safety (this option can be easily
enabled from the application fine settings menu).
9.3) Installation as a BOREHOLE PUMP system
It allows the starting of a well pump through a pressure switch signal, level float switch, tank
probes, pressure transducer or by time programming. To protect the pump from running dry,
it is possible to use 2 or 3 probes in the well. In this case, although it is not usual, the system
could operate in a tank with 2 well pumps in which alternating start-up or joint operation is
required, as if it were a pressure group of surface pumps.
9.4) COMBINED installation (only available in the device for 2 pumps)
It allows the start/stop of 2 pumps completely independent of each other, as described in the
heading of this section of the manual. The protections of the pumps against dry work, phase
consumption anomaly, etc... are independently configurable for each pump, being able to
enable/disable these functions in 1 of the pumps, in the 2 or in none of them, at choice of the
user. In this type of application, the start/stop through the irrigation controller signal will only
work for pump 2.
