Decalcifying
• Depending on the frequency of use and water hardness, it may be necessary to decalcify each or every second
week in order to optimize the performance of the appliance.
• If you live in a hard water area, we recommend using distilled water to help reduce the build-up of minerals.
• Do not clean the unit or the water tank with aggressive detergents or chemicals. You can use a decalcification
cartridge or cleaning tablets for humidifiers to keep the water tank free of deposits.
Storage
• Follow the instructions in the Cleaning and Decalcification chapters and clean the appliance, before storing at the
end of the season
• Dry the appliance properly before storing. DO NOT store the appliance if there is remaining water in the tank or
the base.
• Put the unit in the original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place.

Remedy
Check that the plug is properly connected.
Try it again after the power supply is restored.
Check that the top cover is properly attached to
the tank so that there are no gaps around the
perimeter.
Add water above the minimum level or pour
out the excess water.
Wash the tank and try again.
Carefully clean the mist chip.
Replace it with lukewarm water.
Clean the humidifier thoroughly and fill with
fresh water.
Hard water can cause dust to build up. Moisture
produced by the humidifier also helps the dust
in the air to settle. If the problem persists, use
distilled water.
Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket
and fill the water tank with water.

• Packaging materials and old appliances should be recycled.
• Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Dispose the plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) of as sorted waste.

Reduce the amount of steam.
Disconnect the appliance from the socket and
place it on a flat surface.
Do not aim the mist nozzle directly at
objects near the appliance. Place the unit on
a waterproof surface 60-90 cm above the floor
level.
Let the tank dry or tilt it and pour water out
before manipulating with the appliance.
Make sure the unit is not standing on a soft,
absorbent surface.
Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket
and fill the water tank with water.
