RESCUE LOOP TO EN 1498:2006 CLASS B
A class B rescue loop is a body support device that
is part of a rescue system and designed to keep the
person rescued in a sitting position during the rescue
action.
The maximum payload of the rescue loop is 150 kg.
Attention! The rescue loop is meant for rescue situ-
ations only and must not be used for other purposes.
Attention! The rescuer should ensure that the person
rescued is not endangered by shifting of the belts of
the rescue loop or by contact with fastening ele-
ments, e.g. by a connector hitting the head of the
rescued person during an unintentional event, such
as a fall.
NOTES CONCERNING APPLICATION, SAFETY,
SERVICE LIFE, STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
The present instructions contain important notes, a
control card and a test certificate. All documents
must have been understood by the user before
actual use.
The reseller must provide this document in the lan-
guage spoken in the country of use and it must be
kept together with the equipment during the entire
service life.

APPLICATION NOTES

The following application notes must be carefully
read and observed. This product has been provided
especially for working at a height or depth but does
not release the user from the personal risk of the
application.
Working and sports at a height or depth are always
potentially hazardous. Errors and carelessness can
lead to serious injuries or even death. Correct choice
of equipment requires experience and may require
performing a risk assessment. Use of the product is
reserved to trained and experienced persons or per-
sons under supervision and guidance. The user
should be aware that deficient bodily or mental
health may impair safety of normal application and in
emergency situations. In case of abuse and/or im-
proper use, the manufacturer refuses any liability. In
such cases, the responsibility and risk lie with the
users or persons responsible for the operation.
For application of this product in the fields of rescue
and for use as personal protective equipment we
recommend observing the applicable national rules.
Before using the equipment, the user must ensure
that a person caught by the personal protective
equipment can be rescued promptly, safely and ef-
fectively in case of a fall. Hanging motionlessly in the
harness may cause severe injury and even death
(suspension trauma).
Personal protective equipment is exclusively de-
signed for securing of persons.

SAFETY NOTES

If this product is combined with other components,
these may mutually affect safety. Use only CE
marked components of personal protective equip-
ment (PPE) for protection against falling from a
height.
