1.13 Operating conditions

For correct use, comply with the following operating conditions:
•
Liquid/Ambient temperature: 0 ÷ 40°C
•
pH value: 6 ÷ 14
•
Duty service: S1 operation (continuous operation),
•
Starts per hour: maximum 20 for motor with rated power P2 up to 10 kW, 15 for P2 over 10 kW
•

Minimum liquid level (See POINT 3.3):
WET version: fully submerged pump (Fig. 4)
DRY version: fully submerged pump body (Fig. 5A) or filled pump body (Figs. 5B - 5C)
NOTE: a check should always be performed to ensure that the electric pump operates correctly with the minimum liquid
level. Depending on the specific installation, additional measures may be necessary to avoid that turbulence can cause
inflow of air in the suction.

Thermal protection (See Point. 4.4)
To shut down the power supply in case of motor overheating, the equipment is provided, as standard, with N°3 thermal protectors into the stator
winding.
-Ex submersible pumps in DRY version are equipped with a thermal protector inside the lower bearing support to shut down
the power supply and prevent the surface overheating in case of cooling system malfunction.
It is mandatory that the user connect thermal protectors with a tripping unit in the control panel set in a way to avoid the auto-
matic restart of the equipment.

All the motors are designed to be supplied through inverter.
