Operational modes:
Depending on requirements, you can
choose from and switch between five
different operating modes. (sound waves,
ultrasound waves and flashing lights). use
the frequency dial to switch the device on
and off and to select an operating mode.
once the device's sensors detect a moving
animal within its 110° detection angle, the
selected operating mode is activated and
the animal is repelled.
Sensitivity dial (2):
regulates the motion sensor's sensitivity.
At low sensitivity, it mostly detects large
animals. To also detect smaller animals,
one can increase its sensitivity by turning
the dial clockwise. Its range is 0.2 to 8 m.
Frequency dial (3) Levels:
0... Device is switched off
1... (6 – 10 kHz) strong audible sound
waves, do not use close to humans
(application area: pigeons, dogs,
wildlife)
2... (13.5 – 19.5 kHz) sound waves audible
to the human ear (application area:
dogs, cats, martens, wildlife)
3... (23.5 – 28 kHz) ultrasound waves, not
audible to the human ear, (application
area: dogs, cats, rodents)
4... flashing LeDs
5... Alternating between level 1 and 3,
together with level 4
Prior to initial operation:
To ensure maximum battery life, fully
charge them before initial operation.
Choose one of the following options to
fully charge the batteries:
By means of usB cable (11) (included in
the scope of delivery) through a pc; charg-
ing time approx. 8 hours. By means of
solar panel in bright daylight or sunshine
(1); charging time approx. 30 hours.
Charging status:
When active, a yellow light can be seen
permanently within the motion sensor.
should this yellow light start blinking,
the batteries are weak and should be
recharged. The device is equipped with
overcharge protection.
Battery replacement:
You can operate the device with three
rechargeable batteries.
1. open the battery compartment by
unscrewing it (10) using a phillips
screwdriver.
2. Insert the batteries (9) into the battery
compartment and mind the correct
polarity.
3. screw the battery compartment back on.
INSTALLATION
You can choose to place the device stand-
ing, suspended or permanently fix it in the
ground using the two included aluminium
supports.
