5.4.2.1 Factory setting
The COM port allocated at the PC has to be set for the access to the transmitter. Upon
delivery, the address is set to 247 and the baud rate is configured with 19,200.
With these settings, the transmitters can be read via the button "Read from instrument".

5.4.2.2 Writing new parameters
Take note of the new communication parameters before writing them, as the parameters will
be required again for any new access to the transmitter.
Write the new values in the right fields (below the button "Write on instrument").

By pressing the button "Write on instrument" the data in the fields is transmitted to the instru-
ment register. To finish the writing operation, interrupt the voltage supply of the transmitter
after the transmission before restoring it.
Afterwards, during the reading operation, the entered data becomes visible on the left-
hand side.
If Windows
settings of the system control must be changed to English (USA), since
otherwise, communication problems might occur.
