Pull the supply wire harness off the wire clips on the
housing side wall and remove the driver assembly
through the collar (Figure 8.).
4.
Below the ceiling, remove the two screws securing the
driver to the driver door assembly. Use a 1/4" hex or
flat head screw driver.
5.
Feed the two wiring harnesses through the driver door
bushings and gently pull the driver away from the Diver
Door Assembly to gain access to where the wires
connect to the driver.
6.
Disconnect the supply wires from the driver (white,
black and green). The SCM wire harness does not need
to be disconnected.
7 .
Put the removed parts away. They will be replaced by
ZLE03 LED light engine are not needed any longer.
Installing the ZLE03 Replacement LED Light Engine
Section 1e: Installing the Driver Assembly
1.
Disconnect both 6-pin and 2 pin disconnects from the
ZLE03 light engine (Figure 9. and Figure 10.).
2.
Insert the driver assembly through the collar into the
housing (Figure 8.).
3.
Attach the driver assembly by sliding it down until it
hooks to the thumb screws on the housing wall.
4.
Tighten the thumb screws firmly to ensure the air
tightness of the housing (Figure 7 .).
5.
Connect the supply wires to the 6 pin male connector
by pushing the black wire (line) into terminal number 1,
the ground wire (green) into terminal number 2 and the
neutral wire (white) into terminal number 3 (Figure 9.
and Figure 10.).
6.
For the 2LE0309XXXXE010 connect the dimming wires
to the 6 pin male connector by pushing the grey wire
(DIM-) into terminal number 5 and the purple wire
(Dim+) into terminal number 4.
7 .
Put the 6 pin male and female connectors together and
clip the supply wire harness back to the wire clips of
the inside of the housing wall.
Section 2e: Installing the New SLM
1.
Re-install the LED Module by placing into position on
the heat sink surface, reconnecting the wire harness,
installing the Reflector Retention Ring over the LED
Module and refastening the two screws. Torque should
be 3.5 in-lbs (Figure 6.).
2.
Reconnect the orange 2 pin connector of the LED wire

LED Reflector Installation
To prevent damage to the LED Module, the LED Reflector
should not come in contact with the dome of the LED
Module. Do not touch the inside reflective surface of the
LED Reflector. Grasp the reflector via the outside surfaces.
