1.5 The sole responsibility for adhering to the above-mentioned points 1.1 to 1.4 lies
with the user of the HEROS-matrix helmet.

cannot guarantee that the HEROS-matrix fire fighting helmet functions without
trouble! These instructions do not extend the liability and warranty conditions of
Rosenbauer.
1.6 The HEROS-matrix fire fighting helmet was designed according to the applicable
standards; however, does not provide a guarantee that injuries are excluded.
WARNING:: The helmet absorbs energy when subjected to excessive strain, which can
cause damage to the helmet, and as a result, adversely affect its protective function.
This type of damage may not be evident right away. Every helmet that was subjected
to such severe strain must be replaced immediately!
WARNING: If an additional piece of personal protection equipment or an accessory is
added (with the exception of accessories delivered with this helmet by the
manufacturer), a helmet which is labeled to be in accordance with EN 16471:2014 and
EN 16473:2014 may not be in conformance with all sections of this standard anymore.
Reference must be made to the corresponding information, which must be supplied by
the helmet manufacturer.
WARNING: The fire fighting helmet can only offer maximum protection if it has been
properly adjusted and provides a perfect fit on the head. The helmet may only be worn
in its entirety. Removable parts may not be used singly.
