FITTING THE BATTERIES.-
This
monitor
ALKALINE BATTERIES. To fit the
batteries, carefully insert the two "R-6"
type
batteries
compartment (A), Fig.1, making sure
that the battery's polarity is correct
(matching the battery's "+" terminal
with the "+" sign inside the battery
compartment, and the "-" terminal with
the "-" sign). Replace the battery
compartment cover.
If, after having switched the monitor
on, it displays errors or merely partial
segments then remove the batteries
and wait for about 15 seconds before
reinstalling them.
Weak batteries (run down) produce a
weak digital display (poor contrast)
and erroneous readings. Change them
immediately.
Important. Deposit all spent batteries
or
waste

FITTING THE HAND-GRIP CABLE.
Take hold of the Hand-grip connector
(67), sticking out of the main post (9),
and plug it into (3) located at the back
of the monitor (1), as shown in Fig.3.
ATTACHING THE FEEDBACK
CABLE.
Take hold of cable (10), which is
sticking up out of the main post, and

FITTING THE ELECTRONIC MONITOR.
Remove screws (4), Fig.1, from the
volt
base of the monitor, then slide the
front of the monitor onto the plate on
the main post (9), Fig.3, making sure
not to snag any of the wires, fit the
screws (4) removed previously and
tighten securely.
ELECTRONIC MONITOR.-
To give you greater control over the
exercise, this electronic unit gives
simultaneous read-outs of speed and
rpm alternating with distance, exercise
time, calories burnt and pulse rate.
The screen will switch itself on
automatically as soon as you start
exercising or by pressing any key on
the monitor. The monitor switches on
as soon as you start to exercise on the
machine.
The monitor will switch itself off
automatically if the unit stands idle for
more than 4 minutes.
A. SCAN FUNCTION
This function uses the large screen to
provide a sequential display of all the
values shown in the small windows, to
cancel this function press the MODE
key and the large screen will freeze
the value being displayed at the time
when the MODE key was pressed.
B. TIME FUNCTION
This function counts up or down in
steps
