Note: IP addresses configured in the panel communications
menu are ignored in case of VdS communications, and IP
settings set in the TDA74xx dialler are used instead.
Configuring Advisor Master computer connection for
upload/download
1. Enter the Computer connection menu.
Enable Remote up/download: check that it is enabled.
Press * to change to Yes. Press Enter to continue.
2. Scroll through menus, using Enter, to reach the
appropriate menu.
Service telephone number: This field will be used to reach
the Remote Service Application, running in conjunction
with the Titan application at the Control centre. To enable
outgoing calls, enter the IP address in 12 digit format (for
example 192.168.1.10 becomes 192168001010). Press
Enter when finished.
Computer address: Check that it has been set to match
the requirements of Titan.
Number of rings: To enable incoming calls, set to 1 and
press Enter.
Number of calls before answer: To enable incoming calls,
set to 1 and press Enter.
Connection type: select TDA74xx (if supported) by
pressing 6, or GSM by pressing 3, and Enter.
3. Exit Computer connection.
4. Exit Installer programming.
Configuring Titan Security System for upload/download

For connection outgoing from Titan, set IP connection link
to Direct to IP. Use IP address of the TDA74xx module
and port 10001.
•
For receiving connection, use a software TCP/IP to serial
modem converter. Configure it to answer incoming TCP/IP
connection on port 10001.
In Titan, configure the modem incoming connection from
the same serial port as for the software TCP/IP to serial
modem converter.
Testing the IP dialler
To check the correct reporting to the Central Station, we
recommend you to create an event (for example, a test call, an
opening, or a closing event), and to ensure that the Central
Station receives this event successfully.

Enable service in, if necessary. See Advisor Advanced

Using the Device menu, program a standard expander with the
appropriate address that is set by DIP switches.
Configuring the communications
1. Enter the Dialler menu of the Advisor Advanced panel.
2. Select an appropriate Central station.

3. Choose TDA74xx transmission path for this Central
station.
Note: TDA74xx transmission path can be selected only for
one Central Station from the ATS panel menu.
4. Go to Path options > TDA74xx > Expander menu.

Repeat for each desired Central Station.

Transmitting to an IRIS polling engine
Using the built-in menu:
1. Set Reporting mode: 2, Enter.
Set IRIS: 1, Enter.
2. Configure Ethernet details: 3, Enter.
If configuring for fixed IP:
Enter IP mode: 1, Enter. Set Static: 2, Enter.
Enter IP address: 2, Enter. Set module IP address using
Menu as full stop.
Enter Subnet mask: 3, Enter. Set subnet mask using
Menu as full stop.
Enter Gateway: 4, Enter. Set gateway address using
Menu as full stop.
If configuring for DHCP:
Enter IP mode: 1, Enter. Set DHCP: 1, Enter.
3. Configure GPRS details: 4, Enter.
Configure APN: 1, Enter. Press an appropriate key
repeatedly to select the correct character. The cursor
moves on after a few seconds, or when another key is
pressed. Use Menu to go back a space and Enter to
confirm.
Configure Username: 2, Enter. Press an appropriate key
repeatedly to select the correct character. The cursor
moves on after a few seconds, or when another key is
pressed. Use Menu to go back a space and Enter to
confirm.
Configure Password: 3, Enter. Press an appropriate key
repeatedly to select the correct character. The cursor
moves on after a few seconds, or when another key is
pressed. Use Menu to go back a space and Enter to
confirm.
4. Configure IRIS settings: 5, Enter.
Configure CS IP address: 1, Enter. Set CS IP address
using Menu as full stop.
Transmitting to an OH receiver
Using the built-in menu:
1. Set Reporting mode: 2, Enter.
Set OH: 2, Enter.
