SQUEEGEE CLEANING
NOTE
The squeegee must be clean and its blades must be in good condition for proper water pick-up.
WARNING!
It is advisable to wear protective gloves when cleaning the squeegee because there may be sharp debris.
Drive the machine on a level loor.

Turn the knob (32) to "0" and disconnect the battery (7).
3.
Fully turn the brush/pad-holder deck (12) counter-clockwise.
4.
Disconnect the vacuum hose (A, Fig. 4) from the squeegee by loosing the hose clamp.
5.
Disengage the fasteners (B) and remove the squeegee (C) by pulling the squeegee of in a downward direction from the deck
cover.
6.
Clean the squeegee. In particular, clean the compartments (D) and the vacuum hole (E) from dirt and debris.
Check the front blade (F) and the rear blade (G) for integrity, cuts and tears; if necessary replace them (see the following

paragraph).
8.
Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
SQUEEGEE BLADE CHECK AND REPLACEMENT

Clean the squeegee as shown in the previous paragraph.
Check the front blade (F, Fig. 4) and the rear blade (G) for integrity, cuts and tears; otherwise replace them according to the

following procedure. Also check the front corner (H) of the rear blade for wear; if it is worn, turn the blade over to replace the
worn corner with the other one (I), if it is integral. If the other corner is worn too, replace the blade according to the following
procedure:
•
Remove the blade by disengaging the fastener straps (K or M) from the fasteners (J), then replace (or overturn) the blade
(G or F).
•
Install the blade by engaging it to the fasteners together with the fastening strap.
3.
Install the squeegee (C) by installing the fasteners (B) in the deck cover.
4.
Connect the vacuum hose (A) to the squeegee by tightening the hose clamp.
