SYMPRO High Performance – Cleaning Device
Guide to the operation and hygienic preparation of the SYMPRO Needle Cleaning Unit including the system
components. (This guide is not approved for the hygienic preparation of a dental restoration.)
Important operating and safety instructions
For safe handling and maximum cleanliness, please observe the following application advice.
These are described in detail in the operating instructions and must be observed.

• Before insertion, disinfect the object to be cleaned according to the national
hygiene regulations.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
Installing the device
• Place the device on an acid-resistant and non-slip work surface, if neces-
sary, use a suitable support.
Filling the beaker
• Pour the needles into the bowl as shown in the Application Table.
• Place the objects to be cleaned into the beaker.
• Fill with cleaning fluid. (Note the instructions for using the cleaning fluid in
the booklet / product data sheet and safety data sheet.)
Close the bowl (ensure that the lid / seal is correctly in place) and insert
it into the unit.
See recommendations on speed and duration in the Application Table.
Removing the object
• Remove the cleaned objects with tweezers.
• Rinse thoroughly, repeatedly with water.
Tip:
Visual inspection of the cleaned object for damage and needle deposits.
Disinfect objects prior to insertion into the patient's mouth according to
the national hygiene regulations!
Disposal of cleaning fluid
• With the help of a magnet, hold the needles on the underside of the
SYMPRO beaker.
• Pour used cleaning fluid into a suitable container.
• Dispose of according to the national regulations.
Tip:
Remove cleaning fluid residues from working surfaces immediately with
a damp cloth and rub dry with a dry cloth.
Rinse the beaker and needles.
Fill the SYMPRO beaker up to the marked "MAX" fill level with clear water.
Close the lid and clean the inside of the beaker by shaking repeatedly and
intensely.
When using the SYMPRO mini-cup, fill the cup to the brim under running
water. Fix the cleaning needles with the help of the magnet to the underside
of the SYMPRO cup. Pour the water out. This operation must be repeated at
least 3 times with fresh water.
Then rinse the lid and seal under running water. Check visually whether the
deposits have been removed.
