INDICATIONS
A Probe electrode is the accessory of incontinence stimula-
tor intended for the use of pelvic floor muscle stimulation.
It sends gentle electrical impulses generated by the stim-
ulator via the electrodes on the surface of each probe. By
exercising the muscle group passively, it can help relieve
male or female incontinence and support treatment.
Electrical stimulation via the pelvic nerves is a recognized
treatment alternative for urinary incontinence. When treat-
ing stress incontinence, the aim of the electrical stimulation
is to improve the function of the pelvic floor muscles. For
urge incontinence, the aim is to inhibit involuntary bladder
contractions by stimulating the nerves in the pelvic floor.
