instructions before use. We also recommend
that you save the instructions in case you
need to refer to them at a later date.

Use
Place the kitchen scale on a fi rm, level
surface, for example, a tabletop.
Press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display
will be activated. Wait until you see "0" on the
display.
If "-" appears on the display, this means that
the kitchen scale is not on a fl at surface. Place
the kitchen scale on a fl at surface before you
continue using it.
Place the ingredient to be weighed on the
scale's bamboo plate. After a moment, the
weight reading will be shown on the display.
If you want to weigh fl our, butter or liquid, for
instance, you must weigh it in a bowl.
Place the bowl on the scale's bamboo plate
and wait until the weight of the bowl is
shown on the display.
Zero the weight by pressing the ON/OFF/
TARE button.
Tip the ingredient into the bowl. The display
now shows the weight of the contents of the
bowl only.
You can also use this function if you want to
weigh several ingredients in the same bowl.
If you choose milliliter as a unit, you can
measure out water and milk directly into a
bowl on the scale without using a deciliter
measuring cup.
The kitchen scale automatically turns
off shortly after you have weighed the
last ingredient. You can also turn it off by
pressing the ON/OFF/TARE button for a few
seconds.
You can switch the display between kilo (kg),
gram (g), pound and ounces (lb:oz), milliliter
(ml) and fl uid ounces (fl .oz) by pressing the
UNIT button.
The selected unit is shown on the display.
