■ Using the CAS 100 with External Media Players or Mixers

The Upper Slot and Lower slot signal plus and signal minus terminals may be used to feed the CAS 100 with any
other unbalanced line level audio source. Simply disconnect the wires provided on the terminal blocks provided and
make a cable which attaches to the output of the audio device being connected. Use the Upper Slot or Lower Slot
knob on the front panel to trim the input level to the mixer from the external audio device.

■ Installing the Rear Security Cover

The cable connections to the rear of the unit may be secured against curious hands by installing the rear cable
security cover. Use the included screws to attach the cover. If desired, use security head screws to discourage
tampering. Collect all cables into a single bundle and route out through the grommeted hole in the cover.

■ Mounting

The CAS 100 ships with rubber feet on the bottom and may be placed directly on a shelf. The included rack ears
may be used to mount the CAS 100 in a standard 19" equipment rack, taking up slightly larger than 2 vertical rack
spaces. Alternately, the rack ears may be removed and mounted to the sides of the CAS 100 as flange mounts
allowing the CAS 100 to be attached underneath a shelf or table.
