Unfolding the wheelchair

1. Pull the cord on the front under the seat cover until the
ratchet engages completely.
2. Pull up the backrest at the push-handles until the ratchet
bolts engage in the lateral supports.
3. If fitted, replace the backrest stabilization bar by swinging it
upwards and locating the spring pin in its hole, 3.4 Stabilizing
bar for the back (optional), page 11 .

IMPORTANT!
The screw A in the folding mechanism has the aim
to reduce play. The screw is secured and cannot
become loose.
– Do not adjust the screw in the folding
mechanism as it can make folding and unfolding
of the wheelchair more difficult.

7.3 Removing and installing the rear wheels

WARNING!
Risk of overturning
If the removable axle of a rear wheel is not fully
engaged, the wheel can become loose during use.
This can lead to overturning.
– Always ensure that the removable axles are fully
engaged whenever you install a wheel.
Removing the rear wheels
1. Release the brakes.
2. With one hand, hold the wheelchair upright.
