The 1200 SOLO
powerline adapter
only works in
combination with
another powerline
adapter.

CASE 1
Your current installation has at least one
powerline adapter connected
modem. Continue directly to step 2
CASE 2
You want to install or replace a powerline adapter on
your modem. proceed as follows:
Plug the powerline adapter
into the electrical outlet
closest to your modem.
* To optimise the performance of your installation,
plug your powerline adapter into the electrical outlet
that your modem is usually plugged into, and then
plug the modem into the adapter's outlet.
Connect your modem to
the powerline adapter
using the cable provided.
Continue to step 3.

Automatic
recognition
Your powerline adapters recognise
each other automatically.
Wait a few seconds. The indicator
light turns green.
If automatic recognition fails or if you
want to secure your network, see step 4.
Note: if your current powerline adapter(s) are
not Essentiel b brand, read their installation
manual(s) for pairing steps.

Manual recognition
Securing the network is optional if the powerline adapters
recognised each other automatically. However, this step is
recommended.
CPL 1
Press the PAIR button on the powerline adapter next to
the modem for one second.
CPL 2
You then have two minutes to repeat the action on the
second powerline adapter.
The two powerline adapters recognise each other. Wait a
few seconds (up to 60 seconds). The indicator light
turns green.
CONNECTION

You're online!
Connect the second powerline adapter to your
computer, video game console, TV, etc.
You can now browse the Internet.
