TRANSISTOR CHECK

Do not connect the meter to a source of voltage or current with the
range selector in an hFE position.
Failure to observe this warning may result in serious injury or death.
Disconnect the test leads from the component or circuit under test
before changing the position of the range selector.
Failure to observe these precautions may result in minor injury and/or
damage to this instrument.
1. Turn the range selector to the appropriate hFE position (NPN or PNP) .
2. Insert the transistor's emitter (E), base (B), and collector (C) leads into the corresponding
E, B, and C receptacles.
Note: For convenience, the 93-603 has two inputs labeled "E" for the emitter lead.
3. Read the display.
4. Refer to the transistor manufacturer's specifications for the expected hFE reading.
