2.3. Use In Explosive Areas

Explosion risk!

Incorrect use of the automatic gun can jeopardise the explosion protec-
tion.
→ Do not bring the automatic gun into potentially explosive atmospheres
of ex-zone 0.
→ Do not use solvents and cleaning agents based on halogenised hy-
drocarbons.
The automatic gun is approved for use and storage in explosive atmos-
pheres of ex-zone 1 and 2.
Atmosphere code: Ex II 2 G T4.
2.4. Safety Instructions
■ Check the functions and check the automatic gun for any leaks every time before
it is used.
■ Never point the automatic gun at human beings.
■ Never use the automatic gun when damaged or when components are missing.
■ When damaged, stop using the automatic gun immediately and disconnect it
from the compressed air circuit and material supply.
■ Adhere to safety regulations.
■ Adhere to BGR 500 accident prevention regulations.

Intended Use

Intended Use
The automatic gun is designed for the application of paints, lacquers and
other sprayable media on suitable substrates in small quantities for test-
ing purposes.
Unintended use
Inappropriate use includes using the automatic gun in conjunction with
food products or for spraying unsuitable materials, such as acids or caus-
tic solutions.
