4. Close the lid. Insert the plug into a properly installed 230 V,
50 Hz power socket. The „POWER" control lamp lights up.
5. Adjust the temperature control device to the desired tem-
perature. The „HEAT" control lamp lights up. Once the set
temperature is reached, the LED switches off.
6. Now fi ll the deep-fry basket. Please ensure that the basket
is not fi lled above the hot fat.
7. Open the lid and fi ll the frying basket with the food to be
fried. Remove the handle from the deep-fat frying basket.
8. Close the lid.
9. At the end of the frying time (the frying time is specifi ed on
the package of the food or in the recipe) open carefully the
lid (Warning! Hot steam may be released!). Now remove the
deep-fat frying basket with the handle.
10. Let the oil drip from the food being fried.
Fondue
Important note! The device is not suitable for making cheese or
chocolate fondue. These ingredients could burn or boil over in
the deep-fat frying vessel.
1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged and switched off.
2. The lid can be removed by pulling upwards. In order to
do so, open the lid and separate it from the hinge of the
housing.
3. Remove the frying basket and fi ll the container with oil or
grease (maximum 1.0 l). The fi lling level must be located
between the minimum and the maximum level.
Please note the following important information!
If you use fat, divide it up into small pieces and place it on
the fl oor of the deep frying vessel.
Under no circumstances should you place the fat in the
deep frying basket!
4. Put the fork holder in place.
5. Insert the plug into 230 V, 50 Hz power socket. The „PO-
WER" control lamp lights up.
6. Adjust the temperature control to approx. 130°C. The
„HEAT" control lamp lights up. Once the set temperature
is reached, the LED switches off. With a wooden stick
(e.g. shashlik spit or wooden cooking spoon) you can test
whether the correct temperature has been reached. When
this is inserted into the oil, small air bubbles should rise up
along the wooden stick. Alternatively, you can place a piece
of the food to be fried into the hot oil. If bubbles are formed,
the frying fat has reached the right temperature.
7. Place the pieces of meat on the fondue forks and then dip
them into the oil. Depending on the size of the meat pieces,
the cooking process takes between 4 and 7 minutes, i.e. the
smaller the pieces of meat or other food are, the faster they
are cooked.
ATTENTION: Place the ingredients carefully into the hot oil.
Care is required as you are frying in an open vessel and it
is not possible to avoid oil splashes. Dry off the ingredients
beforehand with a cloth.
8. Adjust the temperature with the regulator such that the oil
simmers.

After Use

To switch the device off, fi rst turn the temperature regulator to
OFF and remove the plug from the socket.

Allow the frying oil a considerable time to cool down. Before
continuing to use the full frying pot, please ensure that it is no
longer at a dangerous temperature.
Cleaning
1. Make sure that the plug is pulled out.
2. Wait until the deep fryer is completely cool before cleaning.
Wait in any case for 1 to 2 hours after use before using
again to avoid burns.
3. Used oil should be poured out at the side.
4. Please do not immerse the device in water.
5. The lid can be pulled off upwards. This makes cleaning
easier.
6. In order to replace the fi lters, pull the fi lter cover located in
the lid of the device upwards.
7. Clean the deep frying fat container, the lid and the housing
with a damp cloth and household detergent if necessary.
Please do not immerse in water.
8. The deep frying basket can be cleaned in the usual way in
soapy water.
9. Avoid using abrasive detergents or sharp objects to avoid
damaging the deep fryer!
