strict observance of these instructions with the use of personal
protective equipment, minimize the risk of accidents, but not eli-
minate them completely. use the machine in the manner described
in these instructions. do not use it for any purpose to which it is
not destined.
these instructions are for an electric machine manufactured in
several models and versions, please read the instructions and
apply them to the electric machine in your possession.
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.
general saFety rules
1) Children or individuals who are not perfectly familiar with the
instructions on use should never be allowed to use the machine.
Local Law and regulations may prescribe a minimum age for the
use of the machine.
2) When using the machine all persons, especially children, and
animals should be kept at a distance. Bystanders should be at
least 10 meters away from the work area.
3) Within the working area, the person using the machine is respon-
sible for any damage or injury sustained by third parties or their
property which has been caused by the machine
4) Never remove any components from the machine unless expressly
specified in this manual and always maintain the original confi-
guration of all parts on the machine.
5) Do not allow yourself to get distracted. use your judgement.
Never use the machine when you are tired or have taken drugs
or alcohol...
6) Always wear heavy-duty, slip-proof work shoes and long trousers.
Wear gloves, goggles and ear protection. Do not use the machine
when barefoot or while wearing lightweight footwear or sandals.
Do not wear loose clothing, scarves, pendants...
7) Before each use, remove from the lawn everything that could be
thrown by the machine.
8) Each time the mower is used, first inspect the blade and its
fastening devices for wear, damage or slackening. Replace
components in sets if worn or damaged. Replace damaged or
illegible labels.
9) Only work in broad daylight or with adequate artificial light.
10) Warning! The blade continues to rotate after the motor has been
stopped.
11) Never use the machine when the hatch, the grassbox and any
other guard or safety device is faulty, damaged, missing or not
in perfect order.
12) Great care must be taken when starting the motor; follow the
instructions in this manual, keeping your feet and hands clear of
the cutting blade.
13) Start the mower and work with the hatch fully closed on the
grassbox.
14) Never start the machine while standing in front of the grass
ejection port.
15) Never start the machine in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas or
in the presence of flammable and/or explosive liquids, gases or
powders.
16) Make sure that the extension cord is kept clear of the mower blade
when starting up.
17) When starting the mower never tip or lift it. In any case, the mower
should only be tipped by a bare minimum and at the end farthest
away from the user.
18) Hands and feet should never be kept close to or under the moving
parts or the grass ejection port when the motor is running or if
the blades have not come to a complete standstill (fig. G).
19) Always keep the grass ejection port free and clean.
20) Always keep the area around the hood free and clean to ensure
the motor receives adequate ventilation.

1) The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage marked on the
rating plate. Do not use other sources of power.
2) It is advisable to use an automatic circuit breaker on the mains
electricity power supply line, in the form of a residual current device
(RCD) that is activated at a current of not more than 30 mA or as
otherwise indicated in the standards in force in the country in which
the unit is used. Consult your local electrician.
3) Used a harmonised cable with a cable section, type of plug and
socket that are suited to the power of this machine. Contact your
local electrician.
Supply cords shall not be lighter then:
- If rubber insulated, ordinary polychloroprene sheathed flexible
cord (code designation H05 RN-F);
- If polyvinyl chloride insulated, ordinary polyvinyl sheathed flexible
cord (code designation H05VV-F).
4) Never use extension cords that have signs of wear or ageing since
this may represent a life hazard.
5) Never pass the machine over the power supply cable while the
machine is running as it could cut the cable. Make sure you always
know where the cable is. If the cord is damaged, unplug the power
cord from the power outlet. DO NOT TOUCH THE POWER UNTIL
YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE POWER. Do not use the machine
if the power cord is damaged.
6) Use the special cable-holder for connecting up the extension cord.
7) Never use the machine when it is raining or over wet ground, in
damp conditions or on wet grass.
8) Do not touch earthed (grounded) objects.
9) Children must be kept at a safe distance from the machines con-
nected to the mains.
The level of noise and vibration found in the attached sheet are average
values of using the machine. The use of a cutting element unbalanced,
the excessive speed of movement, the absence of maintenance have a
significant influence in the noise and vibrations. Accordingly taken all
preventive measures to avoid possible damage due to high noise and
stress from vibration, wear ear protection and anti-vibration gloves,
made of breaks during the work, keep efficient the machine and the
cutting element, level the soil.
