7) Using the enclosed template, mark the locations of the screw holes for the Leaf Supports (P) on
the apron 3 1 / " from the top and approximately 3" from the leg. See FIGURES 7 and 7A. Using a

Phillips Head Screwdriver, punch a pilot hole for each screw. Attach the leaf supports to the Back
Apron (D) with #8 x 5/8" Pan Head Screws (X) with the long arm towards the apron. With the top and
leaf level, attach the other end of the leaf support to the leaf with #8 x 5/8" Pan Head Screws (X).
To avoid pinched fingers, pull the ring on the support to lower the leaf.

ATTACH THE DRAWER HANDLE:
8) Attach the Drawer Handle (T) to the drawer with two #8 x 1" Machine Screws (ZC). See
FIGURE 8.

ATTACH THE "J" HOOKS
9) If you wish to hang cooking utensils or accessories, determine where you would like the "J" Hooks
(Q) mounted and attach them to the apron with two #8 x 5/8" Pan Head Screws (X) through the
holes in the hooks. See FIGURE 9.
