Configuration

The device supports the IO-Link Smart Sensor Profile 2nd Edition and
can be configured over the IO-Link protocol (V1.0 / V1.1) via

IODD (IO Device Description) or
■
IO-Link Interface Description.
Please see the Parker homepage for the IODD / Interface Description.
If parameters are changed, this will influence system func-
tions. Ensure that configuring the pressure sensor does not
cause malfunctions in the system.

Prepare the IO-Link hardware and software for the configu-
ration.

Connect the pressure sensor to the IO-Link hardware.

Configure the pressure sensor.

Begin operation of the pressure sensor with parameters.
Maintenance
The pressure sensor is maintenance-free, and cannot be repaired by
the user. If you experience a defect, you must return the pressure sen-
sor to the manufacturer for repair.
