Implement attachment to the PTO
Implements are hitched to the PTO by means of the quick coupling device mounted around the PTO
itself.
The implements hitched to this device must obviously be designed for this type of coupling.
The implements are hitched in the following way (Fig. 14):
1) Move the lever (11) to the disengaging position, (see the Sticker on the coupling).
2) Insert the hub of the implement (M) into the opening on the PTO.
3) Move the lever (11) to the coupling position, (see Sticker on the coupling) and make sure that the
implement is locked on to the PTO.
4) Proceed with these instructions in reverse when uncoupling the implement.
ATTENTION
Always stop the engine before coupling,
uncoupling or adjusting the implements.
Tow hook (Fig. 10)
The tow hook (G) is just used to tow a seat if used.
Reversing walking tractor and handlebar turning
The REVERSING walking tractor is able to operate in both running directions since it is equipped with a
reverse shuttle that reverses all gear ratios. The handlebars can turn horizontally so that both towed or
frontal implements can be used.
Turning the handle-bars (Fig. 15-16)
Proceed as follows to turn the handle-bars
through 180°:
1) Remove the stop plugs (A) that
respectively lock the gearshift control rod
(1) and the PTO control rod (2) in place,
(Fig. 15).
Remove plug (B) that holds the two pieces
of the gearshift rod (1) and remove it from
the handle-bars, then unscrew knob (C)
from the PTO control rod (2) and remove it
from the handle-bars (Fig. 15).
2) Pull the handle-bar release lever (8)
towards the operator and turn the handle-
bars through 180° following the direction
indicated on the sticker on the column.
