Pumphead description
The pumpheads use the peristaltic principle by employing either 2 or 4 occluding rollers assembled as a
rotor, which occludes a specially designed tube and provides fluid flow by positive displacement as it
rotates.
The pumphead is largely of coated metal construction with metal shafts for the occluding and following
rollers. The rotor body is moulded from a conductive nylon compound. The rotation of the occluding
rollers is allowed using roller bearings. Materials of construction are detailed in this manual.
The pumphead is designed to be direct mounted or close coupled onto a suitable motor gearbox using
the instructions detailed in this manual.
