3 SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

USB DRIVER
The USB Driver is installed automatically when power is applied the fi rst time. CLS-E Yoke
must show up in your Windows Device Manager as «CLS USB Bridge». To connect the CLS-E
Yoke to your simulation soft ware, the CLS2Sim soft ware needs to be installed (Win32 applica-
tion) on your windows based system or a windows virtual machine on LINUX or MAC. X-Plane

DUAL YOKE SETUP / SYNCHRONIZATION
In case of using 2 CLS-E Yokes (MCC Confi guration), the pilot and copilot
device ID must be entered via the CLS-E Yoke Display Menu. Information
can be found in the extended manual under http://www.brunner-innovati-
on.swiss/media/.
Aft er entering the ID's, connect a standard RJ45 Cat5 Ethernet cable on
the "CANopen" connector between the units (Chapter 5 "Wiring Diagram",
Page 28). All necessary settings for self-synchronization are done auto-
