Connecting the solar generator
| Cable leads for the connection prepared on site in terms of length
and dimensioning. If a cable lead is damaged, it must be
replaced.
| Three positive and three negative pole terminals are available.
| At least two and at most six DC cables (+ and –) prepared for the
installation at the installation site.
Connecting the solar generator
1. Open the front door.
Damage due to damaged cable leads!
The cable leads for the connection are prepared on site in terms of
length and dimensioning for all versions and performance levels of
the Conergy IPG series.
Damaged cable leads can result in damage!
| Check all cable leads before connecting the cabling.
| If a cable is damaged, it must be replaced.
2. Check the cable leads of the solar generator for damage.
3. Strip approx. 10 mm of the insulation from the ends of the
cables.
4. Turn the bottom cable lead clamping screw anticlockwise, do
not unscrew completely.

5. Insert the cable lead according to its polarity from underneath
into the terminal connection (1) of the terminal block (2) and
hold it in place with one hand.
