Conergy IPG series central inverters
Maintenance interval
The maintenance work described below must be carried out every
two years after the date of installation.
This period may be shortened owing to local conditions. Reasons
for a shortened maintenance interval are:
| High level of stress caused by deposits of dirt or dust e.g. in
agricultural firms
| Vibration e.g. caused by setting the device up in locations in
direct proximity to railway lines or arterial roads
| High number of nominal load hours e.g. in tracked systems
| Constantly high or sharply fluctuating ambient temperatures e.g.
desert or steppe locations.
Safety instructions
During all maintenance work
| disconnect all electrical systems and live parts and secure them
against switching back on;
| ensure that a second person is present, who can provide
immediate assistance in the case of an electrical accident;
| before starting work on the device, check that all relevant parts
are deenergised;
| cover nearby live parts;
| observe safety equipment, warning and safety instructions on the
unit and in this operating manual.
